Antibes / Juan-les-Pins

Antibes, derived from its ancient name Antipolis, went from an important trading post to a Roman city, then from the Archbishop's diocese in the Middle Ages to today's modern metropolis. Antibes is the second largest town in the Alpes-Maritimes with almost 80,000 inhabitants - a figure that goes up to 200,000 during the summer season! The city is located along the coast between Cannes and Nice, in the natural harbour formed behind the Cap d'Antibes. On the other side of the cape is the seaside resort of Juan-les-Pins, which has today merged with Antibes. Antibes is a popular tourist destination, especially among Scandinavians, who appreciate the agreeable and genuine side of the city. Stroll through the old town through the flea market, to the covered Provençal market of Massena, where wonderful scents and scents transport you in the history of the Arabian Nights. Admire luxurious yachts from all over the world moored at Vauban Harbour, which has been recently renovated and extended with a huge square. Visit the impressive 16th century Fort Carré, which is reminiscent of the former glory of Antibes which, proud of its maritime heritage, organizes exhibitions and several regattas off the coast. Apart from the tourism industry, the Sophia Antipolis technology park, our French Silicon Valley, remains the largest employer in the region. The Antibes train station is located on the Marseille-Ventimiglia railway line, making it easy to get around the region.

You can reach Nice airport, or Cannes in the other direction, in less than half an hour by car. Antibes has many beaches as well as the seaside resort of Juan-les-Pins, known for its lively nightlife with many restaurants, discos and nightclubs. This was the favorite spot of all the jetsetters in the eighties, but today the private beaches are more accessible. You can rent a sunbed for the day, have lunch and have an aperitif by the water’s edge. It is also here where the famous Juan Jazz Festival is held every year in July. The city continues to grow, we have many properties to offer here, especially new constructions. Antibes has a good motto, it is really "the city where life is good"!
