The 75th edition of the Cannes Film Festival will start on May 17 and the mistress of ceremonies will be French actress Virginie Efira. A total of 18 films are in competition this year, including "Holy Spider", a Swedish-French-German-Danish thriller, directed by Ali Abbasi.
